The Finnish Landowners' Organization was established in 1945 to safeguard the interests of private landowners and rural businesses. Ever since this organisation has served everybody who owns land or real estates. Finnish Landowners' Organisation is politically independent.
We help our members and inform them of matters concerning land ownership and real estate management. We also make statements to government departments and committees of the Parliament in issues relating to land use policy.
In 1996 the organisation joined ELO (European Landowners' Organisation). One year later we established a subdivision of Historical Houses.
